Ex-Director of Latino TV Group Is Indicted

The former head of a nonprofit Latino television consortium has been indicted by a federal grand jury on charges of misappropriating $80,000 in government funds earmarked for the group, the U.S. attorney’s office said Thursday.
Jose Luis Ruiz, 57, former executive director of the National Latino Communications Center, was indicted on three counts.
