2 Killed, 22 Missing After Ferry Capsizes

Two people were killed and 22 missing after a ferry capsized on a river in eastern Tanzania, police said.
A rope used by a tugboat to pull the vessel across the Kilombero River on Thursday broke and the ferry tipped over, police spokesman Aden Mwamunyange said.
Mwamunyange said two bodies had been recovered and 21 people had been rescued. The spokesman said the accident occurred near Ifakara, about 200 miles west of Dar es Salaam, the capital.
