The bride-elect is the daughter of Michael and Denise Ahumada of San Juan Capistrano. She graduated from Santa Margarita Catholic High, received a bachelor of science degree in biology from UC San Diego and graduated from the Southern California College of Optometry. She practices in south Orange County.
The groom is the son of Kim and Virginia Brown of Escondido.
An Aug. 31 wedding is planned at St. Edward’s Church in Dana Point.

The bride-elect is the daughter of Rob Brown of Los Alamitos and Armida Ostrowski of Huntington Beach. She is a stay-at-home mom raising three boys.
The groom is the son of Lenny Mazzotti and Nina Itoke of Huntington Beach. He is an account executive for New Century Mortgage.
A Sept. 7 wedding is planned.

Kathleen Lucille O’Keefe and Roger Neale Shaw exchanged vows at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Orange. A reception followed at UC Irvine’s University Club.
The bride, daughter of Joan O’Keefe of Northridge and Lawrence O’Keefe of Temecula, received a bachelor of arts degree in health and safety from Cal State Los Angeles and is health information manager at UCI Medical Center in Orange.
The groom, son of Donald and Peggy Shaw of Cypress, received a bachelor of arts degree in interior design from Interior Designers Institute in Newport Beach. He is a recruiter at Act-One Personnel in Thousand Oaks.
The couple honeymooned in Bora Bora and live in Tustin Ranch.

Eugene and Pat Blod
Eugene and Pat Blod will celebrate their 50th anniversary May 31. They were married at Holy Family Catholic Church in Denver and have lived in Garden Grove for 48 years.
Their children are John Blod of Anaheim, Mary Blod of Fairfield, Calif., and Joan Nelson of San Diego. Grandchildren are Lisa Blod and Sarah, Rachel and Scott Nelson.
The couple will be go on an Alaskan cruise after attending a dinner in their honor.
