A British court dismissed the last remaining charges against Lotfi Raissi, a British-based Algerian pilot originally accused by the U.S. of training the Sept. 11 hijackers.

Raissi was released on bail from a jail in February after a judge ruled that allegations that he had been involved in the attacks were unsubstantiated. He appeared in court Wednesday on charges of falsifying his application for a U.S. pilot’s license.

“Several allegations involving terrorism have been made, but . . . I have received no evidence to support that contention,” Judge Timothy Workman said, throwing out all the charges.
