Update--With five games left in the regular season and the Sparks holding a half-game lead over Houston in the Western Conference title race, the game that looms large is the Comets’ visit to Staples Center on Thursday. But the Sparks also play Utah twice--at home today and Friday at Utah--and the Starzz are only three games back in third. The Sparks won the first meeting, 102-75. Utah--led by 7-foot-2 Margo Dydek, guards Adrienne Goodson and Marie Ferdinand and former UCLA star Natalie Williams--is coming off an 80-71 loss to Sacramento, the team the Sparks beat Saturday to end their first two-game losing streak of the season.
