Creating an Art Farm

Uncle Milton’s Ant Farms are sold with the habitat, sand and instructions, but no ants. To populate an ant farm, customers must go through the following steps:

Send the order form included in the kit to receive the live ants by mail. A postage and handling fee is required.

When the ants arrive, they should be refrigerated for 15 minutes. This makes them less active, facilitating the transfer of the ants from the shipping tube to the ant farm.

The worker ants (no queens are included) have a two- to three-month lifespan. Additional ants can be ordered.
