From staff and wire reports

Word of two big movie sequels surfaced Thursday: Another “Rocky” and “Indiana Jones” are in the works.

MGM said it has signed Sylvester Stallone to write a “Rocky VI” screenplay.

Details were sketchy because Stallone, who wrote 1976’s original “Rocky,” has just been hired. But early plans have Rocky Balboa running a youth center when he is lured out of retirement for one last time.

Meantime, the syndicated TV show “Access Hollywood” reported that Steven Spielberg had confirmed that a new “Indiana Jones” script is written and ready to go before the cameras in 2004, with Harrison Ford on board to star again as the adventurous archeologist.
