From Times Wire Reports
FAIRFAX
Two boxes of live military ammunition, believed to be two or three decades old, were blown up in a field at White Hill Middle School after they were found inside a tree.
The boxes were found by a group of youths walking through an open space area, said Fairfax Police Sgt. Eric Huot.
Police are trying to figure out how the cans, one full of blasting caps and the other stuffed with three vials full of high explosives, got into the tree.
