THOUSAND OAKS

Two educational programs on home safety for seniors will be offered by the nonprofit group Senior Concerns.

Occupational therapist Wendy Gastwirt will teach a session Thursday on how to provide care for an elderly or handicapped person. Architect Bob Berry’s session on Feb. 19 will focus on handicapped access, such as installing ramps, making bathrooms accessible, safe lighting and floor finishes.

Each class, to run from 7 to 8:30 p.m., will be at the organization’s Fitzgerald Senior Day Support Center, 401 Hodencamp Road. To register for the free programs, call 497-0159.
