Angry Mob Kills 3 Vigilante Murderers

An enraged mob led by two dozen Palestinian gunmen burst into a heavily guarded courtroom in Jenin and killed three men convicted in a vigilante slaying.
Three members of the Kameel clan had pleaded guilty to the murder Friday of another clan member, an officer in the security forces. Two defendants were sentenced to death, but the sentences were reduced to 15 years because of their ages--18 and 17. The third defendant also received 15 years.
The outgunned police did not try to arrest the attackers, who fled.
