Resource Agency Gets $25,000 Grant

A teaching center that offers seminars, books and videos on management training to Ventura County’s nonprofit agencies has been given a gift of $25,000.

The Resource Center for Nonprofit Management was awarded the grant by the Wood-Claeyssens Foundation, a Santa Barbara-based group that supports health, social services and cultural organizations.

The resource center, a program within the Ventura County Community Foundation, was established in 1991 to assist the county’s charitable organizations. For more information on the center, call 988-0196 or access the foundation’s Web site at www.vccf.org.
