Conference to Discuss Apartment Strategies

Share

Strategies for financing and developing apartment buildings in Los Angeles despite the shortage of new building sites will be the topic of a conference presented by the Urban Land Institute and the Richard S. Ziman Center for Real Estate on Feb. 20 at UCLA.

Beginning with a reception at 6 p.m., the event at Korn Convocation Hall will include a case study of an apartment project in the San Fernando Valley and a discussion of how prospective developers can identify and complete similar “infill” projects, which are developments of relatively small parcels of land in otherwise fully developed areas or redevelopments of existing properties in fully developed neighborhoods.

Cost of the event is $55 in advance for non-members and $25 for public officials and students, $10 more for on-site registration. For more information call (800) 321-5011 or visit www.uclareag.org/reag0220.pdf.
