From Times Wire Reports

Heroes apparently until the end, the bodies of five Port Authority police officers were pulled from the World Trade Center rubble beside the body of an unidentified woman still strapped in a rescue chair.

The five officers were found Saturday in the smashed lobby of the north tower, which was the second to collapse. It appears they were told to evacuate, but instead chose to stay behind and help the woman.

Chief James Romito, Capt. Kathy Mazza, Lt. Robert Cirri and Officers James Parham and Stephen Huczko were among the 37 Port Authority police officers killed in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks.
