34 More War Prisoners Brought to Naval Base
From Times Wire Reports
Thirty-four more detainees from the Afghan war were flown to Guantanamo Bay naval base, where investigators hope to pin down which captives fought for the Taliban and which belonged to Al Qaeda.
Investigators have been questioning prisoners since Jan. 23. Flights bringing more resumed last week after being suspended so investigators could focus on interrogations. The new arrivals brought the number to 254.
