Tour Helicopter Crash Victim Leaves Hospital
From Times Wire Reports
A Brooklyn woman who survived a helicopter crash during a Grand Canyon tour left a Staten Island hospital after more than six months of treatment for burns covering 80% of her body.
“The word ‘miracle’ is an understatement,” said Chana Daskal’s twin sister, Brochie Rosenberg.
The Aug. 10 crash of a sightseeing helicopter killed six people, including Daskal’s husband, David.
Daskal’s family said she wants to reacquaint herself with her two sons and mourn her husband.
