Wrapping Up, Looking Ahead

Special year-end stock market tables appear on Pages C6-C9 today, showing the 2001 net change and percentage change for major stocks on the New York Stock Exchange, Nasdaq Stock Market and American Stock Exchange.

On Monday, The Times will publish its annual investment review and outlook as a special section. It will include detailed 2001 mutual fund performance tables from fund tracker Morningstar Inc. and lists of top-performing funds as ranked by a proprietary system developed by Morningstar and The Times.

The Monday section also will include articles to help investors with their portfolio strategies in the new year.
