Christians in China
China calls Christianity an “evil cult” and puts its followers in jail while sentencing Christian pastors to death (“Christian Church Leader Is Sentenced to Death,” Jan. 1). China should be ostracized by the United Nations for this behavior, and America should suspend all trade until this vicious religious persecution is stopped. We must give China and all other tyrannical nations an ultimatum, because until we protest, loud and clear, they will never change. It’s time we remove the shackles of tyranny from the U.N.’s ranks. It’s time to define what nations are united for and against. We have agreed against terrorism; let us now agree against tyranny.
