Flag Will Blossom on Seed Company Plot

Bodger Seeds has planted Old Glory in a big way. A floral U.S. flag will bloom on 6.5 acres here by summer in the form of 400,000 red, white and blue larkspur.
The flag will measure 740 feet long and 390 feet wide, with the blue field about 300 feet by 200 feet.
Bodger first planted a U.S. flag the week after the attack on Pearl Harbor on Dec. 7, 1941.
