It’s Comforting to Know of Other D.A.s’ Troubles
Re “D.A.s Struggle on Ethics Tightrope,” July 6:
I feel a lot better knowing that we are not the only county in California that has an ethically challenged district attorney.
It’s reassuring that the county’s top prosecutor is not alone when it comes to political patronage, cronyism, vindictiveness toward employees, favoritism for financial contributors and placing the blame for his problems on others.
Too bad that Orange County Dist. Atty. Tony Rackauckas doesn’t realize he has created the quagmire he’s found himself in.
