Cancer Society to Honor Gerald Katell

The American Cancer Society will honor Gerald Katell, president of Katell Properties, at its annual gourmet gala July 21.

Katell, who lost his wife to colon cancer three years ago, serves on a variety of boards and philanthropic organizations. His Los Angeles-based company has developed more than 5 million square feet of office and industrial space in business and mixed-use parks in Los Angeles and Orange counties.

Tickets to the fund-raiser, at a private Westside equestrian estate, are $300.
