Success of Irvine Valley College Plans Doubted
Re “College Proposes Soaring Venture,” June 15:
If administrators at Irvine Valley College do for the hotel and theater business what they’ve done for public education, count on poor service and bad reviews. Having nearly destroyed what once was the finest community college in the state, they plan to sell off what’s left.
Taxpayers have a right to be confused about the latest shenanigans at IVC. What’s more alarming, a loose cannon dean who thinks he’s Conrad Hilton or a board of trustees that doesn’t seem to know a thing about his grandiose scheme?
