Consultants to Study Finances of 73 Tollway

The operators of the San Joaquin Hills tollway on Monday hired two consultants to study the declining financial condition of the road, which has not met projections since it opened.
An ad hoc committee of the toll road’s directors retained Bob Rich of Public Financial Management Inc. of Philadelphia and Evensen Dodge, a Los Angeles-based financial consultant with toll road experience. Their combined contract is not to exceed $50,000.
