Ms., the feminist magazine founded in 1971, will accept advertising for the first time in more than a decade under its new owners, the nonprofit Feminist Majority Foundation.

Ms. will accept advertising only from nonprofit companies and will itself become a nonprofit, said Feminist Majority President Eleanor Smeal. The Feminist Majority bought Ms. in November from a group of women investors who had owned it since 1998. The organization is moving the magazine from New York to Beverly Hills.

Ms. will be published quarterly the first year, then return to publication every two months in the second year, Smeal said.
