* Imports through the Port of Los Angeles rose 52% in February from a year ago, as importers stocked up amid concern that labor unrest on the West Coast this summer may disrupt their supply lines. The International Longshore and Warehouse Union is expected to meet next month with the Pacific Maritime Assn., which represents ocean carriers and terminal operators, to discuss a new three-year labor contract. The current contract expires July 1. The PMA wants to automate some tasks that are now done by longshore workers.

* Restoration Hardware Inc. said it would restate results for the first three quarters of its last fiscal year after discussions with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The company also delayed release of its fourth-quarter results by a day, until today. Shares of the Corte Madera, Calif.-based firm rose 25 cents to $12.
