Re “Bush Owes Presidency to NRA, NRA Says,” April 28: So the National Rifle Assn.’s Wayne LaPierre and Charlton Heston want to take credit for George W. Bush being in the White House. May I remind them of something? The NRA’s candidate got fewer votes than the gun-control candidate, Al Gore!
