Called Strike Might Leave Baseball Out

Share

A baseball strike date set for early August? Why not early September? That way, when the entire nation is in mourning remembering the worst disaster in U.S. history, both sides’ egocentric demands can be put into real perspective.

I have had enough of whining, pampered and grossly overpaid baseball players threatening to strike in late season this year. If working for more money than 99.9% of the fans will ever see in their lifetimes is such a chore, then get a real job.

If the “players’ union” (an oxymoron if I have heard one) strikes, then they can just stay there.

The Dodgers get shut out every other day and Barry Bonds has a good shot at breaking the all-time home run record: I’m starting to think a baseball strike doesn’t sound so bad.
