New Scripts at South Coast
South Coast Repertory’s newly opened Julianne Argyros Stage will be used to inaugurate the theater’s 18th New Scripts season at 7:30 p.m. Monday.
The weekly series of play readings begins with “The Hiding Place,” by Jeff Whitty, about the relationship between an aspiring writer and a successful novelist. It will be performed by Susannah Schulmann, John Michael Higgens, Larry Drake and Nicholas Hormann.
