From Times Wire Reports

A man charged in a Philadelphia crack house massacre in which seven people died two years ago pleaded guilty Friday and will probably testify against the other three suspects.

Bruce Veney, 26, pleaded guilty to seven counts of third-degree murder, robbery and related offenses. In exchange, prosecutors will recommend Veney get 15 to 30 years in prison.

Police initially believed the massacre resulted from a turf battle among drug dealers. But prosecutors now say the slayings were touched off by a dispute over a car with a broken clutch.
