Ted Turner, Come Home

Re “CNN Is Anything but Mickey Mouse,” Commentary, Oct. 1: Cheers to Ken Bode for pointing out that CNN is the network the world turns to to cover real news, especially foreign news. If Ted Turner does return, he should fire all the yahoos who have tried to clone the Fox News Channel. The direction that CNN has taken since the AOL merger leaves this former CNN junkie desperately longing for the old CNN. “Crossfire” (without Tucker Carlson) and “News- Night” are the only programs worth watching without reaching for the vomit bag.
