Woman Accused of Aiding Suicide Released
A 59-year-old Westminster woman accused of helping her husband commit suicide to end years of debilitating illness was released from jail Tuesday.
The district attorney’s office said the possibility of charging her will depend on the results of toxicology tests. The tests screen for alcohol, drugs and medications and will help determine what killed Mariano Lopez, said Deputy Coroner Larry Esslinger. The results could take about four weeks, he said.
