Trading Firm Raided in Probe of Sept. 11 Ties

German authorities raided an import-export company in Fitzbek that one official said had employed a suspected Al Qaeda recruiter who helped draft several Sept. 11 hijackers into the terrorist network.
Mohammed Haydar Zammar, believed to have introduced Mohamed Atta to senior Al Qaeda figures in Afghanistan, worked for Tatari Design and Tatex Trading, a German security official said. Zammar remains in custody in Syria after being arrested in Morocco.
The Tatari family is suspected of falsifying documents and laundering money to smuggle in militants.
