Relative Suffering
I read “Israelis Adapt to Annoying Searches, Ubiquitous Guards” (Sept. 9) and heard their complaints loud and clear. If it was not truly sad it would be very funny. My advice to them is to spend 24 hours in the occupied territories navigating the checkpoints and the torn-up roads, all at gunpoint. It is guaranteed to make them feel better.
