A Secretary Is Not a Toy
What a disgusting ad for “Secretary.”
Why was this ad allowed to run? Why didn’t the advertising supervisor say to the advertiser, “There are a number of reasons why we will not print this ad in its present form. What would you think if your wife or daughter interviewed for a job at a company and they were told to ‘assume the position’?”
Does The Times value its female employees so little as to print an ad for a movie that demeans not only them, but all women in the workplace?
Good taste never goes out of style.
