Accused Wisconsin Priest Is Arrested in L.A.
From Times Staff Reports
A priest accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old altar boy in the 1970s in a Wisconsin church confessional was arrested Monday, officials said.
John Patrick Feeney, 75, was arrested about 6:40 a.m. at his Los Angeles apartment.
A criminal complaint in Wisconsin’s Outagamie County charges him with three felony counts for alleged sexual assault in 1978 of the 12-year-old in the face-to-face confessional and the later attempted sexual assault of the same boy and his 14-year-old brother at their home.
