Islamic Preacher Held in Hotel Suicide Blast
From Times Wire Reports
Police have arrested an Islamic preacher suspected of involvement in the Nov. 28 suicide attack on a hotel that killed 11 Kenyans and three Israeli tourists, authorities said. Police picked up Aboud Rogo, 34, in the Likoni district of Mombasa and were taking him to Nairobi for questioning, a spokesman said.
Last month, a relative said Rogo had introduced his family to a man who is believed to be an Al Qaeda operative. Al Qaeda claimed responsibility for the Nov. 28 suicide bombing on the coastal Paradise Hotel.
