Let’s Keep the Flags Flying Separately

Re “Garden Grove Flag Clash,” March 17:

Everyone knows that flags unite groups of people, but at the same time segregate people.

Every group, from the state to the United Nations and the Ku Klux Klan, has a flag.

All people in our country have a right to fly a flag in parades or on private property. But let’s keep them separate, unless you fly the Esperanto flag, the symbol of friendship and love of all people.
