Water Use Restricted for Many in Denver
From Times Wire Reports
The city of Denver restricted outdoor watering for 1.2 million customers, saying a March blizzard did not ease drought conditions enough.
The rules, which take effect May 1, will allow residents to water for two hours twice a week. Residents who use excess water will be charged.
Since October, Denver Water has banned outdoor watering of lawns except for athletic fields and golf course tees and greens.
