From Times Wire Reports
Four U.S. soldiers and an Iraqi child were injured in Baghdad when ordnance exploded as the child tried to hand it to the troops, the U.S. Central Command said in Qatar.
Three of the four soldiers, all from the 101st Airborne Division, have been evacuated, officials said. The fourth returned to duty after treatment. Officials said that an investigation was underway and that efforts were being made to find the child, who was taken away by an Iraqi man. The child’s injuries were unknown, they said.
