Slain Speedway Promoter Honored

Friends and relatives of Steve Brucker, the promoter of the Cajon Speedway, remembered the slain businessman as a generous and kindhearted man who was passionate about racing.
A crowd of about 800 people, many members of the region’s racing community, gathered Monday to honor Brucker, who was killed April 14 by a gunman who knocked on his door. Police are searching for the assailant.
