Jordan said Tuesday that a mobile field hospital has arrived in Baghdad to provide a wide range of medical services to residents of the Iraqi capital, where many hospitals have been looted or lack electricity.

The 100-bed military hospital, equipped with four operating rooms, has a team of 200 doctors, nurses and auxiliary staff and will begin to treat patients within 48 hours, said Manaf Hijazi, head of Royal Medical Services.

“It can receive any medical case due to its wide range of specializations,” Hijazi told Reuters.
