Transgender Bill

As a transgendered person, I urge the passage of AB 196 banning discrimination in housing and employment (“Assembly Passes Bill to Protect Transsexuals,” April 22). My transgendered friends include an unemployed lawyer, computer programmer and camera operator. Diversity and tolerance in the workplace are good for California’s economy.
