‘Mayor’ Could Face Arrest, Officer Warns

A U.S. commander in Baghdad warned that self-proclaimed “mayor” Mohammed Zubeidi and his followers will face arrest if the returned exile pushes too far with claiming authority.
Lt. Col. Alan King, in charge of restoring Baghdad to normal, said he had seen reports Zubeidi was distributing weapons and uniforms. “Anyone in uniform working with al-Zubeidi will be arrested,” King said.
