Mentors Wanted

“A Little Brother Is Lost” (editorial, Aug. 1) exposes the needs of so many youths who could benefit from a Big Brother or Big Sister. You described how Tom Riley brought a thrill into the life of Dexter Rideout, before Dexter’s tragic death. Many of our children find happiness and hope through their mentors. Right now we need Little Sisters to match with hundreds of Big Sisters of all cultures and backgrounds who are waiting. We also have mentoring programs at schools and community centers.
