Missing Pair’s Plane Found in Northwest

A small plane missing since April was found in Washington state’s Pasayten Wilderness during firefighting work, the Okanogan County sheriff’s office said Tuesday.
Two people from the San Francisco area -- Shura Lewton, 49, and David Nichols, 53 -- were on board and presumed dead, according to the National Transportation Safety Board.
The pair disappeared after leaving Pangborn Field in Wenatchee, Wash., on a flight to Bellingham, Wash., April 17.
