Re “Seeking Ivy Amid the Maple,” Dec. 1: Thanks for your article about Canadian colleges. As a high school student, it was an eye-opener for me, as I had never realized I had the opportunity to attend a top-echelon Canadian college. For all you “nerds” out there with no extracurricular activities, don’t lose hope -- just apply to a Canadian college.
