Other unscripted dramas have ebbed and flowed in the ratings, but CBS’ “Survivor” remains strong. Consistently one of prime-time TV’s most popular shows, it drew an estimated 25.4 million viewers for Sunday’s season finale, according to Neilsen Media Research figures released Monday.

The Pearl Island wrap-up, the seventh edition of the game, attracted the most viewers of any “Survivor” since the fourth game ended in May 2002, CBS said.

Sandra Diaz-Twine, a mother of two from Fort Lewis, Wash., beat Lillian Morris, a Scoutmaster from the Cincinnati area, in the final vote revealed during CBS’ three-hour broadcast.
