Re “Losing Hand for the State,” editorial, Jan. 25: I can’t resist a straight line like this one: “How about a casino on the state Capitol lawn -- or across Spring Street from Los Angeles City Hall?” Why not? It would not only balance the budget but keep all politicians out of trouble and in a place where we could find them if we actually needed one.
