Westminster Woman Needs Marrow Donors

A Westminster woman with acute lymphocytic leukemia is looking for bone marrow donors.
UC Irvine’s Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center and the City of Hope will conduct a blood and marrow drive for Emanoelo Dan, 43, on Saturday. It will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Grace Bible Church, 1119 S. Lambert Drive, Fullerton.
Dan emigrated from Romania. The best hope for a match comes from someone of Romanian descent, but anyone between 18 and 60 can be screened.
