Share

Whosleavingwho, the co-world champion with Streakin Sin Tacha in 2002, will make his first start of the year in tonight’s third and final trial for the $200,000 Los Alamitos Winter Championship.

The Texas-bred gelding, who completed his 4-year-old season with a victory in the Champion of Champions on Dec. 14, is one of 21 older horses trying to earn a spot in the Winter Championship, a Grade I to be run March 1. The 10 fastest qualifiers tonight will move on to the 400-yard final.

Owned by Jim Geiller and Kim Kessinger and trained by Paul Jones, Whosleavingwho will break from the rail under jockey Joe Badilla Jr. Among his opponents are Miami Cartel, Ddf De Great Saiga and Backed By Speed.
