Hundreds of Women Bare All to Protest War
From Times Wire Reports
More than 700 women posed nude to protest any Australian involvement in a possible U.S.-led war with Iraq.
Sitting or lying on a grassy knoll in the beach town of Byron Bay in eastern Australia, they formed a heart around the words “No War” for an aerial photo.
Australia has sent troops and approved fighter jet deployments to join U.S. and British forces in the Persian Gulf but has yet to publicly commit itself to any military action in Iraq.
